Did you know an active eagle's nest is right along Gates Creek? The tree is about 400 feet north of the Giddens property.

MORE WILDLIFE

Other wildlife can be seen in and around Gates Creek and around the Giddens 18-acre agricultural parcel. Please submit your photos (to SaveGatesCreek@gmail.com), especially if you see the eastern indigo snake, gopher tortoise, Sherman's fox squirrel or Florida Scrub Jay. These are among the species listed as endangered, threatened or Species of Special Concern; some are known to reside in this area.
